WELCOME TO GIDDY UP TRANSPORT
It's been a long time in the making, since about 1912 to be exact that the Shaw family has been involved with horses in the Cowichan Valley. Jim Shaw was a blacksmith and farrier in Cowichan Station as shown in the photo below. His grandson (also a Jim) carries forward as many family traditions as he can.

That's Jim on the far left with his co worker Jack Ross and horses Grit and Tony. Notice in the background a sign, with the big warning "rabies"! Back then, it was a much bigger problem than it is now.

So that was back then - and look at us now with a fully equipped trailer with 3 horse angle haul. Built in 1999 inspected in 2009 routinely maintained by a family that cares and uses it to move their own animals. Maximum weight 4489 kg (or 9990 pounds). Overheight, so it can comfortably carry warmbloods. Click on the photo of the trailer to see a full page picture of the interior of the trailer with 2 horses in it.
